A Game close to my Heart Blog #2

 Hello everyone welcome back to some more blissful ignorance today I wanted to shed some light on a video game that lies close to my heart. Today I want to talk about Assassin's Creed II known to be one of the greatest games in the franchise. Originally released November 17, 2009 this game is still considered one of the classics due to its writing, character depth and growth, and gameplay. The setting takes place in an alternate timeline that shares our history. To keep from spoiling the game I will leave it pretty bare for the most part.


    You live out the past life's of your ancestors from their perspective using technology that uses the DNA in your blood. The game focuses on Desmond Miles and his ancestor Ezio Auditore de Firence as he is of special importance (no spoilers!) to an organization named the Templars. Throughout the game you live through the eyes of Ezio on his quest of revenge as he expands his skills as he meets more and more people on his quest. 



That is all the story I wish to give as it is best experienced unknowingly, but Assassins Creed II Welcomes you Italy in 1476 and stuns you with its beauty, everywhere you go it makes you feel as though the city is alive. Whether you hear the banging of hammers in the smithies littered around town, or the distant chatter of people exchanging goods. This game provides an experience to behold like no other I highly recommend you check it out!

    I'm glad you were able to tailor both posts to your own gaming interests as it's obvious this is a passion of yours that you are knowledgeable on. Good improvements in this entry by adding in some visual support to further engage the reader.

Blog #5 Allstate Mayhem, lets dive deeper

Hell everyone, this time around I want to talk about an Allstate commercial that exemplifies how subtlety can go a long way, and is specifically meant to resonate with its target audience. With that being said lets get started! Allstates commercial "Beauty Blogger | Allstate Mayhem" is a 23 second long ad that is a different take on advertising home insurance to people.  Firstly, as the ad starts you are presented with a bedroom filled with a variety of pink and purple blankets, sheets, and pillows. You can also see a jewelry box and some makeup on a desk, with the main focus point being on a gentleman with a black suit, white undershirt, and a dark grey tie using a sky blue curling iron on his hair. The first line presented is "I am a beauty blogger, and this mermaid hair how-to is gonna get me a ton of likes" symbolizing that the main character is fixated on their social media presence, and cares a large amount on others approval. Synthwave: a Missed opportunity? or a necessary stepping stone. Blog #8

       Hello everyone welcome back to another rant with yours truly! Today I would like to talk about an extraordinary type of music call synthwave. Synthwave is an electronic music microgenre that is based predominantly on the music associated with action, science-fiction, and horror film soundtracks of the 1980s. This genre of music was introduced to me from my dad, and a few friends back when I was in high-school. Even to this day this genre still thrives hidden beneath the new top hits of today, but the beauty really lies within how the music can reach out to you. I know I am not alone in the fact that music has the ability to touch the soul in ways nothing else can.
